This is a relationship building business model, with monthly contact by mailed items of value, followed up by a call or a pop-by in person. Jeff makes sure the clients received the item of value, finds out how they are doing and if they or someone they know could use real estate or business directory services at this time or the near future. Jeff's aim is to be your Realtor for life as well as your friends, family, neighbors and colleagues.
This is a business by referral model. Referred business tends to have clients who feel more comfortable and makes the home sale/purchase process more enjoyable. This is a win for the consumer because when they refer leads to Jeff, it enables him to do an even better job for them before, during and after the transaction.
Different compensation structures allow a better fit for the consumer and Jeff. This frees up Jeff to be more of a consultant and advisor.
Traditional fee model. Realtor/Company assumes marketing cost and time risk for X percent when home sells.
Modified fee model. Client pays Y dollars up front and the amount paid when the house sells is deducted by Y + negotiated amount. This allows for some of the marketing cost risk to be bared by the client, and in return get savings when the home sells.
